This was my first talk in my life as an udergrad computer science student. I was a member of CodeChef-VIT and was a second year student. This session was attended by 250+ people who were highly interested in learning about blockchain. Some of the concepts I covered included the following:
- Hashing
- Merkle trees
- Different types of consensus algorithms
- When to use and when not to use blockchain
The talk was concluded by an ideathon where attendees were asked to come up with a solution to some of the common problems in the day to day life and try solving them using blockchain. It was met with a lot of enthusiasm.
